Azienda Agricola Toscani in Casale Marittimo opens its doors to you for a tasting of five organic wines, born from the passion and experimentation of Rocco Toscani.
Located in a panoramic position in the Pisan hills, a few kilometres north of Bolgheri, the farm is dedicated to the production of wine, oil and the breeding of quarter horses: in other words, a small Maremma paradise.
Spend two hours visiting the winery and tasting its most representative wines, accompanied by Rocco's sparkling explanations. Cheers!
What we will do
The appointment is in Casale Marittimo (PI), 10 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
Here we will be welcomed by the owner or his staff to begin our visit of the Azienda Agricola Toscani, a young company born of a passion for the Tuscan countryside, as direct and authentic as its wines.
We will stroll through the grounds of the estate to admire the vineyards, olive groves and horse paddocks: a true immersion in the atmosphere of the Pisan Maremma.
Then we will visit the winery and its barrique, enhanced by the photos taken by Rocco and his father Oliviero Toscani. But it doesn't end there, because the tour will continue in the photographer's home, where he lived for most of his life. We will be able to admire some of his works and enter his world of art, powerful messages and a deep love for the countryside.
At the end of the visit, which will last about one hour, we will move to the tasting room with panoramic views of the surrounding hills and the nearby coastline. It is here that we will sit down for a tasting of 5 wines from the winery, 4 reds and an ancestral method, selected by Rocco according to the season.
The wines tasted will include:
- I Toscani, Costa Toscana Red 50% Syrah 50% Teroldego
- Lolì, Costa Toscana Rosato 100% Syrah ancestral method
- Lumeo, Costa Toscana Red 100% Syrah in amphora
- O. T. Costa Toscana Tosso 60% Syrah 40% Cabernet Franc
- Vedomare Rosso, Tuscan Red Coast 100% Syrah
- Vieni via con me, Costa Toscana Rosso, 100% Cabernet Franc
The wines will be accompanied by an original explanation by Rocco of all their characteristics and a tasting of EVO oil, also produced by the company.
The experience will last a total of 2 hours, one hour of which will be spent visiting and one hour tasting.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and above.
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Minors can take part in the experience free of charge; please notify the organisers of their presence after confirmation of booking.
The wine cellar is wheelchair and pushchair accessible.
Other information
The experience takes place throughout the year, from Monday to Sunday, subject to the availability of the winery. A minimum number of 2 people is required to confirm the activity.
The visit includes short car journeys from the reception point to the winery and from the winery to the tasting room.
The winery cannot be reached by public transport; parking is available on site.
Dogs are allowed on the premises.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
