Full description
At the Camilleri Estates, a few kilometres from Agrigento, a food and wine experience awaits you that you will not easily forget.
In half a day, you will taste 6 of the winery's best wines, one of which you will have the exciting opportunity to taste directly from the barrique. You will stroll through the rows of a vineyard under the Sicilian sun, smelling the scent of the olive groves. Finally, you will visit the winery to discover the secrets of wine production.
The Camilleri family will open the doors of their estate to you, where every corner tells a story of passion and dedication for the land and wine.
What we will do
The appointment is at the Camilleri Estates in Campobello di Licata (AG), where a member of the Camilleri family will be waiting for you for a warm welcome.
We will begin with an experiential tour of the vineyard, a walk of about 45 minutes during which you will have the opportunity to calmly explore the vineyards and olive groves, while we tell you about the different types of vines, their peculiarities and the various jobs that punctuate the year, such as harvesting and pruning.
We will start the first part of the tasting right here, but how we will do it you will only find out on the spot... Yes, it's a bit of a surprise!
After exploring the outside of the estate, we will move on to the cellar. Here, between the barrels and the maceration vats, we will reveal the secrets of wine production. You will have already tasted 2 of our wines and now it is time to taste 3 more, accompanied by selected cold dishes such as rolls, salami and other local delicacies that may vary according to the season.
We will move on to the cellar, where the tasting of the last wine awaits you, an exclusive moment in which you can use a pipette to draw wine directly from an oakbarrel(barrique) and pour it into your glass. A unique experience that will make you feel part of the wine-making process.
We will therefore taste a total of 6 wines:
- Affacciusuli, Perricone Sicilia DOC
- Fiumarantica, Grillo Sicilia DOC
- Nero di Cicco - Blend Rosso Sicilia DOC
- Semprevento - Nerello Mascalese Sicilia DOC
- Terraranni - Nero d'Avola Sicilia DOC
- Titous - Merlot Sicilia DOC
The experience will last about 3 hours in total, but you can spend as much time as you like on the estate enjoying the landscape, the family atmosphere and the company.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
