Full description
To access this activity, you must utter a secret word: Amarone.
Amarone is the star of our cellar visit with tasting: in the company of a guide reserved for you and your group, you will venture to discover the production rooms of this Valpolicella classic.
And how better to crown this exclusive 1.5-hour experience than with a vertical tasting of 4 glasses of Amarone?
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at Corte Archi, in the hamlet of Valgatara near Marano di Valpolicella (VR). You will be welcomed by a member of thewinery located between Verona and Lake Garda, in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica region.
You and your group will then be invited to proceed with a tour of the cellar lasting approximately 30 minutes: you will walk through an early 20th century structure, between wooden barrels where the wine is aged and steel tanks in the processing area. You will then arrive at the fruttaio, an area dedicated to thenatural drying of the grapes that here begin their transformation into Recioto and Amarone, the protagonist of this experience.
Weather permitting, a short walk through the vineyard with a view of the Marano Valley will also take place before reaching the room used for the vertical Amarone tasting. This will consist of four glasses, accompanied by Parmigiano Reggiano aged 24 months:

Each glass will be accurately described by the person in charge of the tasting: it will be a triumph of Amarone!
The experience will last a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only. A discounted rate is reserved for minors, which includes snacks accompanied by non-alcoholic drinks.
The wine cellar is not accessible by wheelchair or pushchair.

The experience takes place from January to December.
This activity is private: you and your group will be the only participants.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
