To access this activity, you must utter a secret word: Amarone.
Amarone is the star of our cellar visit with tasting: in the company of a guide reserved for you and your group, you will venture to discover the production rooms of this Valpolicella classic.
And how better to crown this exclusive 1.5-hour experience than with a vertical tasting of 4 glasses of Amarone?
What we will do
The tour will take place at the selected time at Corte Archi, in the hamlet of Valgatara near Marano di Valpolicella (VR) . You will be welcomed by a member of the winery staff ; the winery is situated between Verona and Lake Garda, in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica region.
You and your group will then be invited to take a tour of the winery lasting around 30 minutes: you’ll walk through an early 20th-century building, past the wooden barrels where the wine is aged and the steel vats in the production area. You will then reach the drying room, an area dedicated to the natural drying of the grapes, where they begin their transformation into Recioto and Amarone – the stars of this experience.
Weather permitting, there will also be a short walk through the vineyard with views over the Marano Valley before reaching the room set aside for the vertical tasting of Amarone. This consists of four glasses ( two glasses of Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG ‘Gli Archi’ and two glasses of Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG ‘IS’ selection from different vintages) , accompanied by 24-month-aged Parmigiano Reggiano.
Each glass will be carefully described by the tasting host: it will be a true celebration of Amarone! On request, you can add one or two glasses of IGT Pinot Nero or Oseletica to the tasting for €5. 00 each.
The experience will last a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions; those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The wine tasting is for adult participants only. Minors are eligible for a discounted rate, which includes light snacks served with soft drinks.
The winery is partially accessible to wheelchair users and pushchairs.

The experience takes place from January to December.
This activity is private: you and your group will be the only participants.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
