"There’s a little cottage just like this, with lots of little coloured windows. .. " and one that looks right out over the Oltrepò Pavese!
Podere Bignolino invites you to enjoy a wine tasting paired with local specialities, whilst taking in the view of the autumnal foliage, rolling hills, vineyards and castles.
Depending on the season, you can take a seat in the panoramic dining room or under the portico: the flavour (and what a flavour! ) will always be the same!
What we will do
The event will take place at the selected time at the Podere Bignolino Winery in Montalto Pavese (PV). On arrival, we will be welcomed by the Contardi family’s staff, who will take us on a guided tour of the winery.
Afterwards, depending on the season, we will take our seats under the farmhouse’s portico, with a view of Montaldo Pavese Castle, or in the cosy indoor tasting room, which looks directly out over the estate’s vineyards and olive grove and the hills of the Oltrepò.
When booking, you can choose between two tasting options:
- a tasting with a bottle of your choice, including Metodo Classico
- a tasting comprising three glasses of wine of your choice, including the winery’s barrel-aged wines
To accompany the wine, we’ll serve a selection of homemade hot and cold dishes, along with local specialities such as artisanal cured meats and cheeses.
Who it is aimed at
The wine tasting is for adults only.
A reduced rate is available for children or accompanying adults who do not drink alcohol. Alternative drinks such as water or Coca-Cola are included for them.
The event is also accessible to pushchairs and wheelchair users.

The experience is available all year round and requires a minimum of two participants to be confirmed.

The estate offers free parking reserved for guests, but there are no public transport links to the estate.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
