We are waiting for you in Capriolo, a stone's throw from Lake Iseo, to discover a reality where 13th century tradition marries modern viticulture. Between a visit to the iconic Wine Museum and a descent into the suggestive underground cellar, you will enjoy a unique journey, crowned by a tasting of three sparkling glasses accompanied by crunchy local breadsticks.

What we will do

The appointment is at the selected time at the Ricci Curbastro farm in Capriolo (BS), in the splendid setting of Franciacorta, a land bordered by Lake Iseo and the River Oglio. We will be welcomed by our guide to begin a tour that is a veritable time machine.

We will begin with a guided tour of the Agricultural and Wine Museum, a unique reality in the area that holds thousands of objects that bear witness to a rural world that has now disappeared. In about 20 minutes we will explore three themed rooms housed in the farm's 19th-century cottages, touching on the history of those who worked these lands for centuries.

Next, we will move on to the underground cellar. Here, the guide will show us the production processes of Franciacorta DOCG and Curtefranca DOC wines, explaining the secrets of wine-making. We will then descend into the underground part, the beating heart of the winery, to admire the evocative barrique cellar and the stacks of bottles being aged.

The tour will continue in the veranda tasting room, which offers a splendid panoramic view of the winery's vineyards. Standing up, we will move on to wine tasting: we will taste a glass of Franciacorta Brut DOCG, one of Satèn Brut DOCG millesimato and one of Rosé Brut DOCG, all accompanied by breadsticks.

The experience will last about 1½ hours in total.

The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying minors or astemious persons may participate in the activity free of charge.

The facility is not accessible to wheelchair users or those with mobility problems.
