Full description
Tenuta Della Casa is the place where passion for good wine meets love and respect for nature. Nestled in the hills of Collio, close to the border with Slovenia, this Friuli winery has made it its goal to preserve the biodiversity that surrounds it.
Visit the winery founded by Umberto and Adele Della Casa and now run by their son Renato. Discover the philosophy behind its Collio Bianco and Collio Rosso wines obtained from indigenous vineyards and taste them in combination with local products.

What we will do
The appointment is at Tenuta Della Casa in Cormons (GO), at the time chosen for the activity.
Welcoming us to the winery will be the owner Renato and his collaborators, who will tell us about the history and philosophy of their company, committed to preserving the environmental biodiversity of the Collio region. In the land surrounding the estate, vineyards alternate with large areas of woodland, meadows and orchards, and are home to indigenous and hardy vines that are the protagonists of innovative projects.
We will begin our visit of the wine cellar, the only one in Friuli with unglazed cement "Tulipe" tanks that allow the wines to maintain an ideal temperature. Walking through the various rooms, we will have the opportunity to discover the processes that lead to the production of Collio Rosso and Bianco.
After the visit, we will move on to the tasting room with a large window overlooking the cellar or to an adjoining room to begin the tastings. We will taste 3 wines from the estate, accompanied by a board of mixed cold cuts and local cheeses:
- Preludio Collio Bianco 2019
- Prelude Collio Bianco 2020
- Ouverture Collio Rosso 2020
During the tasting, the characteristics of each wine will be explained: a way to learn about the territory also through the glass. For those who wish, at the end of the visit it will be possible to make purchases at the winery's sales point.
The activity will last approximately 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Minors may participate in the experience free of charge; any fruit juice or other drinks may be paid for on site.
The estate is accessible with buggies and prams.
Other information
The experience can be booked all year round, Monday to Saturday.
On-site parking is available for guests. It is not possible to reach the winery by public transport.
