Taste Tuscany in a glass of wine!
We are waiting for you in San Miniato, in the Pisan hills, for a visit to the winery and a tasting of traditional wines at theAzienda Agricola Pietro Beconcini. Here you will meet Leonardo and Eva, who carry on the family vocation by cultivating the ancient vineyards along the Via Francigena.
They will be the ones to tell you the story of this reality and guide you through a tasting of 4 wines, 3 of which are Sangiovese-based and a fourth fruit of the winery's innovation.
What we will do
The appointment is at theAzienda Agricola Pietro Beconcini in San Miniato (PI), at the time chosen for the activity.
Already driving to the winery we will be enchanted by the expanse of vineyards surrounding the property. Here we will be welcomed by Leonardo and Eva, the fourth generation of winemakers on the Beconcini family's land.
The visit will begin outside with an introduction to the history and production of the winery. We will learn about the characteristics of the land and the peculiarities of the San Miniato area. After this explanation of about 15 minutes, we will take a seat in the evocative barrique cellar , where we will have the pleasure of tasting the wines of the winery surrounded by barrel s and barriques.
Each wine we will taste will be explained in detail to allow us to appreciate its unique characteristics. The tasting will include a sampling of schiacciata and pecorino cheese and four glasses of wine, three of which will be Sangiovese-based, embodying the Tuscan tradition, and a fourth reflecting the winery's more innovative component:
- VEA Trebbiano Macerato
- PIETRO BECONCINI Chianti Riserva DOCG
- RECISO Sangiovese
- 1 to choose between IXE Tempranillo or Maurleo
After the tasting, it will be possible to buy the wines directly in the winery: a fragrant souvenir to take home with us. The experience will last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits.
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Minors can participate in the experience free of charge; please inform the organisers of their presence after confirmation of booking. Non-alcoholic drinks are not available.
The wine cellar is wheelchair accessible, with the exception of the toilets.
Other information
The activity takes place all year round, every day except Sundays, and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 participants.
On-site parking is available for guests. It is not possible to reach the winery by public transport.

Dogs are allowed on request, provided they are kept on a leash; please contact the organisers after booking confirmation to check that it is possible to take your four-legged friend with you on the chosen date.
