If wine is poetry in a bottle, then Nero d'Avola is epic: an epic journey through the flavours and traditions of Sicily.
Come and visit us at the Camilleri Estates, a few kilometres from Agrigento, for a truly exclusive tasting in the company of an expert sommelier. With the Verticale, you will in fact be able to taste the last 4 vintages of Nero d'Avola, plus - as a preview - the new vintage straight from the barrel.

What we will do
The appointment is at the Camilleri Estates in Campobello di Licata (AG), where a member of the Camilleri family and a sommelier will give you a warm welcome.
We will begin with an exclusive tour of the cellar. Here, amidst centuries-old barrels and modern technology, you will discover the secrets of Nero d'Avola production, accompanied by the stories of Peppe, the oenological soul of the family.
We will continue with an experiential walk through the vineyards, where you can see first-hand where the prized wine is made.
Now the stage is set for Nero d'Avola! During the vertical tasting of the last four vintages, you will discover how each year has its own character... a bit like us! And to enhance the flavours of each wine, we will delight you with an assortment of carefully selected local snacks.
Finally, you will be able to taste a preview of the new vintage straight from the barrel and go home with a bottle of Nero d'Avola freshly filled with a hand-signed label.
The experience will last about 3 hours in total, but you can spend as much time as you like on the estate enjoying the landscape, the family atmosphere and the company.

The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The estate is not accessible by public transport.
