Come and discover the biodynamic winery La Ricolla in Ne, in the heart of the Levante Ligure region, where a winemaker will guide you on a journey through 'heroic' vineyards and spontaneously fermented wines made from native vines.
An experience lasting over 2 hours in which you will taste 4 glasses, which you can choose to accompany with focaccia, local olive oil and a board of typical products!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the La Ricolla winery in Ne (GE) in the beautiful setting of Levante Ligure. We will be welcomed by a guide who will lead us to discover a reality that since 2017 has chosen the path of biodynamic agriculture to revive almost forgotten vineyards and preserve the biodiversity of the territory.
We will begin our tour by visiting the vineyards, including the historic one of the Basilica dei Fieschi and the terracing where Bianchetta Genovese and Vermentino grow. We will then continue inside the production facility: we will visit the fermentation room with its cement tanks and the area dedicated to ageing in terracotta amphorae and cement eggs. The guide will explain the company philosophy based on respect for natural cycles and the absence of added sulphites.
We will then take a seat in the tasting room, where we will also be able to observe the winery's small oil mill. Here we will taste four glasses of wine (such as Vermentino, Bianchetta or amphora wines) to discover the unique aromas of rare grape varieties such as Cimixà. When booking, it is possible to choose the "visit + tasting with chopping board" option, for which the tasting will be enriched with home-produced EVO oil , a chopping board with salami and cheese, focaccia and vegetable crumbs from 0 km.
The experience will last a total of around 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and above. The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying under-age persons may participate in the experience; the price for their participation is available on request on site.
The visit to the vineyards is not wheelchair-accessible, while the tasting room is accessible (please note, however, that there is no dedicated toilet) .

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
