Get ready to discover a historic masseria in Salento, where hospitality is an art as old as its 16th-century towers. Amidst the greenery of thousands of centuries-old olive trees and the scent of the vineyards, a wine tasting awaits you that is a true declaration of love for the territory.
An alternative to the usual aperitif, during which you will taste two glasses of wine accompanied by typical local products!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the masseria in Salve (LE), in the setting of the picturesque landscape of the lower Salento, amidst centuries-old olive groves and lush vineyards.
We will be welcomed by the staff , who will seat us for the guided tasting, which will take place on the splendid outdoor terrace or inside the structure's cosy bistro .
We will be guided in the tasting of 2 glasses of wine, a Fiano and a Negroamaro, discovering the nuances and characteristics of the terroir and the vineyards that make these labels produced between the sea and the land unique. We will also be served an accompanying board composed of crostini with homemade pâtés, local cheeses enriched with honey and jams, and the fine EVO oil produced on the masseria.
During the tasting, the staff will not fail to tell us about the history of the estate, a place of high archaeological and cultural interest located near the Fano and Gravina Canal. Before or after the tasting, we can also visit it, admiring the traces left by the Basilian monks, such as the ancient rock engravings, and the majestic tower erected in 1577.
Upon request, it will be possible to supplement the experience by adding other typical dishes prepared directly by the masseria's bistro.
The experience will last about 45 minutes in total .
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for 18 year olds and above.
Wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying underage and astemious persons may participate in the experience by ordering non-alcoholic drinks or snacks directly from the a la carte bistro menu.
The facility is not accessible to persons with mobility problems unless accompanied by an accompanying person, due to the historical and natural conformation of the site.

The experience is available from April to October.

Dogs are allowed during activities.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
