On the eastern hills of Lake Garda, in Caprino Veronese, there is a place where the winemaking tradition has been at home for centuries: Tenuta La Presa.
In this wine tasting experience you will not only discover the journey of wine from the vineyard to the glass, but you will savour it with all your senses. Five selected wines, including Lugana, Bardolino and Veronese reds, will meet a platter of local cold cuts and cheeses for a combination of flavours designed to enhance every nuance.

What we will do
The appointment is at Tenuta La Presa, where one of the members of the Dei Micheli family will welcome us to kick off this experience. Before filling our glasses, we will start with a guided tour through the vineyards to discover what makes this land and its vines unique.
After 10 minutes between the rows, we will enter the ageing cellar and the sparkling wine factory. Here, amidst oak barrels and the scent of must, the guide will tell us about the winemaking process, from harvesting to ageing. Then we will move on to the barrel cellar, the beating heart of the winery, where the wine rests and is enriched with character. This part will last about 20 minutes.
And here we come to the most eagerly awaited moment: the tasting. We will get comfortable to taste five selected wines, including Lugana DOC, Bardolino DOC, Salassà IGT Rosso Veronese and Napoleone IGT Rosso Veronese. Accompanying each sip will be a platter of local cured meats and cheeses (included) perfect for enhancing the flavours of each glass.
The total duration of the activity will be approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Any accompanying minors or adults who are not tasting will be charged a reduced fee, which can be selected in the booking box; they will be served fruit juices or other non-alcoholic beverages in addition to the provided wine board.
The facility is wheelchair-accessible, with the exception of the wine cellar.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport; there is free parking on site.
Dogs are allowed on the premises, with the exception of the wine cellar.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
