In Maldito, amidst verdant hills and rows of vines as far as the eye can see, there is a young and passionate family business rooted in the history of an ancient 18th-century residence: Tenute Pacelli.
Let yourself be guided on a tour of the wine cellar and hunting lodge, stroll through the vineyards and finally enjoy a tasting of 3 or 5 wines (to be chosen at the time of booking) in the indoor hall or on the panoramic patio.
1½ hours among wine, history and the authentic scents of the Calabrian hills.
What we will do
The appointment is at the time selected when booking at Tenute Pacelli in Malvito, where we will be welcomed by sommelier Laura.
We will begin with a guided tour of the winery, during which we will be told about the history of the estate and the philosophy that guides organic production. Upon request, we will also be able to visit the fascinating 18th century hunting lodge, a historical symbol of the family.
We will continue with a walk through the rows of vines, a walk of about 10 minutes immersed in the colours and scents of the vineyard, during which we will be told interesting facts about the land and the vines. To complete the tour, we will visit the estate's oil mill, where we will learn about the production process of their EVO oil.
The final tasting will take place in the elegant and cosy indoor room or, in fine weather, outdoors on the panoramic patio overlooking the vineyards. When booking, you can choose between two tasting options:
- Classic tasting: tasting of 3 wines from the classic line (a red, a white and a bubbly), accompanied by products from the house (PDO cheeses and cured meats, taralli, vegetables in oil, savoury pies, fig molasses...)
- Premium tasting: tasting of 5 wines, paired with EVO oil and a rich selection of local products (Caciocavallo Silano, fresh goat cheese, artisanal cold cuts, home-made vegetables in oil, pasta with cherry tomatoes, aubergine parmigiana...)
The activity lasts a total of about 1 ½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The wine-tasting experience is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only. Minors or any adults who do not taste wine may participate in the experience free of charge.
The experience is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.

The activity takes place all year round and is confirmed on reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
Dogs are allowed, provided they are kept on a leash.
