The most beautiful couple in the world? Frascati wine and Roman ricotta cheese!
You too will be able to taste it at the Casale Mattia winery in Monte Compatri: you will walk through the vineyard, visit the cellar and taste typical local products while toasting with the best house labels.
Anexperience of more than 2 hours, during which taste will be the protagonist!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at Casale Mattia in Monte Compatri (RM). We will be welcomed by our guide, a member of the Rotelli-De Sanctis family, who will accompany us on a discovery of this wine-growing estate not far from the capital.
Having gathered all the participants, the experience will begin outside with a walk through the vineyard: the guide will not fail to tell us interesting anecdotes about cultivation techniques, pruning and harvesting. We will then move inside for a visit to the cellar: we will learn more about vinification in steel and finally discover the difference between DOC, DOCG, IGT and DOP designations.
We will then reach the room that will welcome us for the tasting: the guide will serve and describe 3 glasses of house wine such as white, red, sparkling or dessert wine. The toast will be accompanied by bread topped with homemade olive oil and locally produced products such as cold meats, cheeses with honey, vegetables and baked goods depending on the availability of the day.
The experience will last a total of 2½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for participants aged 18 and over.
Wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only. Underage participants and paying abstemious persons will be served typical products accompanied by water or a non-alcoholic drink: contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to communicate your non-alcoholic preference.
The facility is accessible by wheelchair and/or pram.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
