Discover the great classics of Valpolicella with an extraordinary wine tasting at Cantina Mizzon, in the province of Verona.
From the magic of the fruit cellar, where theAmarone is born, to the barrel cellar with its barriques, to the guided tasting of 5 fine wines paired with local products.
A journey through flavours, traditions and great labels, to be experienced sip after sip!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the Mizzon Winery in San Pietro in Cariano (VR), where we will be welcomed by the guide and sommelier with an introduction to the history of the family and Valpolicella. We will begin with a visit to the vineyards, where the characteristics of the grapes and the cultivation systems used will be explained.
We will move inside for a tour of the cellar lasting about 30 minutes, starting with the fermentation room, where we will discover how the various stages of vinification take place. We will then go up to the fruit cellar, the heart ofAmarone and Recioto production, where the grapes are dried using traditional techniques, and visit the barrel cellar, amidst barrels and barriques where the wines refine their unique character.
Finally, we will take a seat in the tasting room, where we will be able to taste 5 wines from the Tradition Line:
- Pinot Grigio delle Venezie DOC;
- Valpolicella DOC;
- Valpolicella DOC Ripasso Superiore;
- Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG;
- Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG.
The wines will be accompanied by a platter of local cured meats and cheeses. The entire experience will last about 1.5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only. Minors or astemious persons may participate by selecting the "Accompanying persons" option when booking, and they will be served a drink or juice, plus a chopping board.
The facility is wheelchair accessible, with the exception of the wine cellar.

The experience takes place from Tuesday to Saturday all year round and is confirmed when there are at least 2 participants.
Dogs are allowed on the premises.
