Wine tasting with winery visit in Mombaruzzo

In the heart of the Monferrato countryside, amidst the scents of the earth and the most authentic wine-making traditions, an experience awaits you that will involve all your senses.

Join a guided tour with wine-tasting at theVini Piana winery in Mombaruzzo: you will discover the secrets of wine-making, walking through the processing areas and tasting selected wines accompanied by typical local products.

Anexperience of about 1.5 hours, perfect for those who love good wine and want to immerse themselves in the Piedmontese wine-making tradition!

What we will do

The appointment is at the selected time at theVini Piana winery in Mombaruzzo, where our guide will welcome us to begin a journey into the world of winemaking.

We will begin with a visit to the outside area of the winery, where the grapes are crushed: here we will discover the first step in a process rooted in tradition and innovation. We will then continue inside, exploring the area where the barrels and tanks collect the fermenting must. Of course, the guide will explain the techniques and care required to obtain an excellent wine. The tour will last about 20 minutes.

Finally, we will take a seat in the wine cellar tavern, a rustic and cosy environment, where a wine tasting accompanied by bread, breadsticks, cold meats, cheese and other Piedmontese specialities will await us. We will taste traditional Monferrato wines including Barbera, Dolcetto and Cortese and the aromatic Brachetto and Moscato, depending on our preferences.

In the summer months, we will also indulge in a walk along the melliferous cultures trail, discovering the botanical richness that contributes to the unique character of the local wines.

The entire experience will last about 1½ hours.

The experience is recommended for ages 18 and over.

The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. The cost of the experience for any accompanying under-age guests is to be agreed with the organiser; please contact the winery at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate their presence.

The winery is accessible by wheelchair or pushchair.

There is free parking for guests on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
