Explore the Cerite hinterland in an original way aboard a Dune Buggy, a small off-road vehicle designed for use on sand dunes. A local guide will lead the way on the best off-road trails that lead from the historic centre of Cerveteri to the belvedere, passing through the ford of Sant'Antonio.
At the time of booking, you can decide whether to enjoy driving the Dune Buggy or participate as a passenger, admiring the beautiful Roman countryside and ancient necropolis.
What we will do
The appointment with the guide is in Cerveteri, in the province of Rome. After a quick briefing on the route and safety regulations, we will take a few test rides on the Dune Buggy, before setting off on our excursion.
On board this original four-wheeled vehicle designed for driving on sand, we will explore the wonderful Cerite hinterland. Our guide will lead the way on a 16-km, mostly unpaved route through the ford of Sant'Antonio to the belvedere.
Along the way, we will also have the opportunity to visit the Rupestrian Tombs. Those who wish can take advantage of the stop to exchange with the driver.
The activity lasts about two hours and ends with the return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
A valid B licence is required to drive the Dune Buggy and must be shown at the start of the excursion. For passengers, the minimum age is 8 years.

The activity takes place all year round.
The tour can be conducted in 2, 4 or 6-seater dune buggies depending on the number of participants selected and the organiser's availability.
Dogs are not allowed in this activity.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport. There is ample parking and a changing room on site.
