Full description
Sardinia is a land of natural beauty and ancient food and wine traditions. With our off-road tour through the countryside around Orosei, the pearl of the Orosei Gulf in the Nuoro area, you can experience and savour all the best of the area.
The experience begins with a nature and history trail, first to Monte Tuttavista and then to the Nuraghe Gulunie di Osalla. Not to be missed for those who want to enjoy the breathtaking views between sea and mountain, but also delve into the culture of Sardinia.
Finally, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a wine and food experience in the vineyard with a typical grilled meat dinner. What are you waiting for? Get on board.
What we will do
We will meet around 5.30 p.m. in Orosei, where we will board our off-road vehicles to get straight into the heart of the tour.
First, we will head for Monte Tuttavista, where we will visit the natural monument of Sa Petra Istampata, or 'the drilled stone'. This is a natural sculpture that has been shaped over the centuries by the wind to create a twenty-metre hole from which to admire a breathtaking view of the lower Baronia.
On the way to the vineyard we will stop at the Nuraghe Gulunie di Osalla, one of the best preserved in the area. From the vantage point of this peculiar Nuraghe, a truly sensational natural spectacle will open up before our eyes, from the north coast to the mouth of the Cedrino river and south to the green beach of Osala, in the territory of Dorgali.
Finally, we are ready for our visit to the vineyard, a paradise of culture and nature nestled in the Orosei countryside. During our walk through the rows of Cannonau vines, we will listen to the managers passionately tell us their stories and grape growing techniques. After tasting a glass of rosé, we will enjoy a Sardinian dinner of roast suckling pig or mixed grill (your choice).
After dinner, we will return to the starting point by off-road vehicle. The excursion will take about 6 hours.

The tour can be booked all year round and is confirmed once 6 participants are reached.
There are 2 off-road vehicles available, each of which can carry 8 people in addition to the driver. Child seats are also available (to request these, call the guide at the contact details you will receive by email with your booking confirmation).
Those who wish can add a tasting of 3 other wines from the winery to the experience at an additional cost of €15 (to be paid on site).

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
