Pink flamingos or cappelletti? This is the dilemma.
The solution is our Comacchio Valleys bike tour: ride 45 km in the company of a guide through pine forests and salt pans crossed by the Reno river (and inhabited by the most populous colony of flamingos in Europe)! And to make sure you don't miss anything, board a ferry to Sant'Alberto where a steaming plate of cappelletti awaits you for lunch.
To arrive at the end of the 6-hour excursion with eyes and belly full of wonder!
What we will do
The appointment is at 09:30 at the meeting point in Marina di Ravenna (RA). The on-site staff will welcome you and hand over your muscle bike or e-bike (to be chosen at the time of booking).
After an introductory briefing with the guide, we will climb into the saddle and start pedalling towards the Reno river, dotted with fishing huts. We will then enter the Comacchio Valleys, inhabited by the unmistakable pink flamingos , which here have given birth to one of the most populous colonies in Europe!
We will then cross the Reno river boarding a ferry to Sant'Alberto where we will have a lunch break with traditional cappelletti (included).
Once we have recharged our batteries, back in the saddle to return to the meeting point (or to the campsite where you are staying) through pine forests, salt marshes and wetlands with arrival scheduled for 15:30.
At the end of the experience we will have covered 45 km for a total of about 6 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone from the age of 10; children must be used to cycling.
Other information
The experience is available from April to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 10 participants.
When booking, you can choose between a muscle bike or e-bike.
You can agree on a different starting and ending meeting point depending on the location of your accommodation; please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to forward your request.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
