Have you ever thought how much more beautiful Naples is seen from the sea? This 1½-hour boat tour gives you the chance to find out!
Departing from Borgo Marinari, embark on a journey between Castel dell'Ovo, the Caracciolo waterfront and the elegant villas of Posillipo, with a finale that will make you feel like a true Neapolitan: a dip in the Baia del Cenito!
In the company of an experienced skipper, you can relax and enjoy the view without any worries. Between history, sea, and cool drinks on board, this tour is the idea to discover Naples from a new perspective.
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the chosen time at the meeting point in Naples. Waiting for us will be the skipper, who will give us all the necessary information before we board.
We will set off from Borgo Marinari, with Castel dell'Ovo greeting us as we sail away from the coast. From here we will start sailing along the Caracciolo waterfront, where we will be able to admire Naples in a different light, with Castel Sant'Elmo towering over the hill.
Our journey will continue along the Posillipo coast, where we will pass some of the city's historic villas, such as Palazzo Donn'Anna, Villa Lauro, Villa Pavoncelli and Villa Rosebery. We can also stop for a 15-20 minute swim (optional) in the Baia del Cenito, a small inlet surrounded by greenery.
After passing Cape Posillipo, we will reach Marechiaro, a famous fishing village, and finally Gaiola, a corner of paradise in the sea of Naples, after which we will begin the return journey. During the navigation, the skipper will share stories and curiosities that will make us appreciate Naples and its immense beauty even more.
The activity will last about 1½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable from the age of 3; minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The excursion is not recommended for pregnant women.
The boat is not accessible for wheelchair users or persons with reduced mobility.

The activity takes place all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The boat used is a 7-metre motorboat, equipped with cushions, awning, shower and climbing ladder. Soft drinks and/or beer are offered on board.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
The meeting point can be easily reached by public transport; paid parking spaces are available on site.
