Full description
Treat yourself to a day on a boat to discover Procida! You will depart from the port of Forio di Ischia aboard Alcione, a spacious motorboat that will take you on a tour of the Campanian Archipelago.
The island of Procida will enchant you with the bright colours of the village of Marina Corricella, its tuff coastline and the beautiful Ciraccio beach. You can admire its most famous attractions from the sea, but also disembark on the island for a free walk.
During the excursion you will enjoy a delicious and hearty lunch prepared on board with typical Ischian specialities. What are you waiting for to set sail?
What we will do
We will meet at 9.30 am at the port of Forio di Ischia, where we will take roll call and board our boat Alcione. After drinking a good mocha coffee, we will set sail in the direction of Procida , sailing along the eastern side of Ischia.
We will make our first stop after about 30 minutes of sailing at the Bay of Lacco Ameno, also known as the Bay of the Nuns due to the presence of a mollusc called "sea nun". We will stop for a dip and enjoy bruschetta with Ischian tomato and basil, accompanied by a glass of wine.
We will then continue to the Spiaggia degli Inglesi, where we will make a second swimming stop. Back on board, we will sail past the Aragonese Castle and reach Procida after about another 30 minutes.
We will then sight theIslet of Vivara, which is connected to Procida by a bridge, and enjoy the spectacle of the island's tuffaceous coastline. We will make an initial stop at the Spiaggia di Ciraccio (Ciraccio Beach), a picturesque stretch of sandy coastline framed by two stacks emerging from the water. We will enjoy a nice swim and then re-board to circumnavigate the island.
Heading towards the village of Marina Corricella, we can see the imposing structure of the Palazzo d'Avalos from the boat. If there are not too many boats, we will stop at Marina Corricella for lunch, otherwise we will move to the Chiaiolella harbour.
Lunch cooked on board will be a succession of surprises, including fish specialities, typical products from Campania, and musical entertainment.
After lunch, we can disembark on the island for a free visit or take a guided taxi tour (not included) to discover the main attractions in a short time. Those who prefer can stay on board the boat and enjoy some well-deserved relaxation.
Before departure around 16:00, we will have a nice snack of fruit and coffee. On the way back to the port of Forio we can make a final swimming stop at Ischia Ponte, depending on the time available.
The excursion has a total duration of 8 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under 3 years of age do not pay.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The activity is available from May to November, weather permitting, and is confirmed with a minimum number of 10 participants .
Two boats are used for the excursion, both with a capacity of 40 passengers (depending on availability):
- 20 m longboat Alcione , equipped with a covered upper deck with sofas and poufs and a lower deck with benches and a large table, as well as toilets;
- 20 m long and 5.20 m wideboat Marlin 1, equipped with a sundeck, toilets and shower.
There are about ten snorkelling masks on board, as well as the obligatory safety equipment.
Dogs are not allowed.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
