Full description
You are on holiday on the Island of Elba and you would like to visit it all. But really all of it.
The best way to do this? By taking part in our boat tour! A captain will welcome you on board and take you to discover the main attractions of the coast, from the Grotta Azzurra to the Pomonte Wreck. And in view of the next stop, you will enjoy a light lunch overlooking the land (because you will be in the sea)!
A 6-hour experience during which you will dive countless times!
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before 09:00 at the meeting point in Marina di Campo (LI), where the captain will welcome us on board the motor boat.
Once we have finished boarding all the passengers, we will be ready to set sail to discover theIsland of Elba. During the navigation, we will sight the Rio Albano Mines, part of the Mineral Park of the Island of Elba, which has over 90 species of minerals.
We will then approach by boat the Grotta Azzurra (Blue Grotto), which owes its name to the particular hue that the sea takes on when illuminated by the sun. We will be able to swim inside the cave and admire the particular shades it takes on when illuminated by the sun.
We will then reach the suggestive Wreck of Pomonte, a vessel sunk in 1972. We will also stop here for a swim. Those who wish may use the snorkelling masks available on board to admire the wreck.
We will then be served a light lunch (included) of rice salad, accompanied by water.
We will continue sailing, visiting Capo d'Enfola, where the ancient tuna fishery once stood, and spotting the Grotta del Vescovo, Cavoli, Seccheto and Fetovia. Along the way, we will stop for three more swimming stops in the most scenic natural settings.
We will finally return to the meeting point around 15.00, for a total duration of approximately 6 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 0-4 years participate free of charge; please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate their presence.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible; people with reduced mobility are welcome and can contact the organiser at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to request boarding support.
Other information
The experience takes place from June to September and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 15 participants.
Theitinerary may vary depending on weather and sea conditions at the organiser's discretion.
No parking spaces are available near the harbour, so we recommend parking at the beginning of the village. The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport.
Theboat is a 16-metre long motor boat with a canopy and toilet.
Small dogs are allowed on board.
