Full description
Discover Murano and Burano, the two jewels of the Venetian lagoon with a boat tour that will take you first to one and then to the other island.
On Murano you can watch the artisans work the glass, a true art that has been handed down from generation to generation, while on Burano you can admire the marvellous houses with their colourful façades reflected in the water of the lagoon: a joy to behold!
You will have about 1 hour free time on each island to wander through the narrow streets and immerse yourself in the history of the lagoon.
What we will do
In the morning the boat leaves from Venice Santa Lucia, other participants will board at St Mark's Square (choose the point that is most convenient for you when booking). In the afternoon it leaves only from San Marco.
We will then continue to Murano, where we will disembark and have about an hour to visit one of the famous glassworks to discover how glass is made and to buy a souvenir in some little shop selling the products made by the craftsmen.
We then re-board the ship to head towards Burano. Here too we will have about 1 hour and 15 minutes on the island, which is one of the ten most colourful places in the world. In fact, we will be able to take lots of photos of the small houses with colourful facades that the fishermen had decided to paint in order to recognise them more easily among the fog; even today it is still possible to colour the facade of your own house!
You will disembark at San Marco. Those who book the morning tour from the station and wish to return to the starting point will have 2 hours free time in the San Marco area from 15:30 until we board at 17:30 to return to the starting point. In the afternoon, everyone will disembark at San Marco. The experience lasts approximately 4½ hours considering departure and return to San Marco.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is open to all, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Children from 0 to 3 years old participate free of charge, but you must inform the guide of their presence at the contact details you will be given once your booking is confirmed.

The experience takes place all year round.
When booking you can choose the part of Venice you wish to depart from:
- San Marco at 11:00 (from 01/04/24 at 10:45) or 13:00
- Venice Santa Lucia Station at 10: 30 am (from 01/04/24 at 10:15 am). If you choose this departure point for the morning tour, after the tour to the islands you will have 2 hours of free time in the San Marco area and then embark again at 17:30 to return to Venice Santa Lucia station.
Dogs are allowed on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
