Discover the secrets of the south-west coast of theIsland of Elba with a boat tour that will take you from Lacona-Capoliveri to the Grotta Azzurra.
This tour is much more than a simple boat trip, it is a real journey of discovery of the island's nature, flora and fauna, led by a Tuscany Region Environmental Guide.
So let yourself be lulled by the waves, relax, listen to the guide's tales, dive into the clear waters for snorkelling, and spend half a day among nature, sport and relaxation!
What we will do
We will set sail at 9:00 am from the small port of Margidore, in Lacona - Capoliveri (LI). The boat can accommodate a maximum of 12 people, so a small group to enjoy the experience to the full and interact with the crew, always ready to provide assistance and tell all the secrets of theIsland of Elba.
We will sail west, staying as close to the coast as possible so that we can observe the landscape well. Along the way, the guide will entertain us with explanations of the most interesting naturalistic, geological and marine biology aspects.
We will stop several times for swimming and snorkelling, under the supervision of the instructor who will point out the best spots to observe marine life. We will visit the Grottina dell'Acqua, the Grotta del Vescovo, the Grotta Azzurra, where we will be able to swim inside, and finally the Scoglio della Triglia.
The activity will last approximately 4 hours and will end with a return to the starting point.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is open to all, with no age limit.
Children under the age of 4 participate free of charge. However, we ask you to report their presence to the organiser.
Other information
This activity can be booked from April to October and is confirmed when there are at least 6 participants, weather permitting.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
