Explore the islands of Lipari and Salina by land and sea!
Join our boat excursion in the Aeolian Islands Archipelago: departing from Lipari, you will sail to discover the Pumice Quarries, Pollara Bay and many other unmissable natural attractions. You will not miss a stop ashore at Lingua, taking the opportunity to taste local delicacies.
A day of navigation (and more), which will end with a toast of Malvasia!
What we will do
The rendezvous is 30 minutes before 10 a.m. at the meeting point in Lipari (ME). Waiting for us will be the organiser's staff, who will lead us on foot to the nearby embarkation point. Here we will meet thecrew who will welcome us on board the boat.
Once we have finished boarding all the passengers, we will set sail to discover Lipari. In the shadow of Monte Rosa, we will sail past the village of Canneto until we reach the scenic Pumice Quarries, where we will have a 20-minute swimming stop between white beaches and crystal-clear waters. Navigation will continue with a view of the obsidian flow, which precedes the village of Acquacalda.
We will then sail towards Salina, which will welcome us with a swimming stop of about 20 minutes in the waters of Capofaro. We will then pass by theArco del Perciato and the Bay of Pollara, the famous film set of Massimo Troisi's 'Il Postino' where we will anchor for yet another swimming stop. At lunchtime we will land at Lingua, where we will have a 2-hour shore break: we will be able to take advantage of the free time available to taste some of the island's delicacies, such as pane cunzato and fresh granitas, at our leisure.
Back on board and once again exploring Lipari, we will sail along the western side of the island characterised by sheer cliffs, sea caves and the Petra Longa and Petra Menalda stacks. Before returning to port, we will enjoy a final swim and a toast on board based on local Malvasia.
We will finally return to the meeting point at 17:00. The experience will last a total of 7 hours.
