Motorboat day tour to Lipari and Vulcano

Embark on an incredible boat trip to Lipari and Vulcano.

Spend a day of relaxation and fun visiting Lipari Castle and Vulcano's thermal pool, diving into the crystal-clear waters of the Bay of Black Sands, or strolling along Corso Vittorio Emanuele.

What we will do

The meeting is at 9:00 am at the Port of Milazzo. We will depart for Lipari once we have completed embarkation, at 9:30 am.

On the way, we will be able to admire Capo Milazzo, where the largest fortified citadel in Sicily, the Milazzo Castle, stands.

We will arrive in Lipari at around 10.30am, where we will be able to stop for about 2 hours to visit the island on our own. Here, we will have the choice of visiting the Castle of Lipari, an imposing 16th century building surrounded by walls jutting out into the sea, and its Regional Archaeological Museum "Luigi Bernabò Brea", containing artefacts from the Prehistoric and Classical eras, or lunch in one of the typical restaurants in the centre (not included).

We will set sail from Lipari at 13:30 to head towards the island of Vulcano. Here the stopover will be about 2½ hours, during which we can explore the island's beauties, such as the Gran Cratere della Fossa and the Pozza Termale, or swim at the Baia delle Sabbie Nere, famous for its volcanic formation and characterised by shallow waters and crystal-clear waters.

We will then set off again at around 16:00 to explore Vulcano by sea and discover all the hidden places that are not accessible by land, such as the Grotta del Cavallo and the Piscina di Venere.

Return to the Port of Milazzo is scheduled for 17:45. The total duration of the activity is 8 hours.

The excursion is suitable for everyone.

Children up to 3 years of age can participate in the tour free of charge. However, their presence must be indicated after booking, as they will only pay the disembarkation fee on site.

Attention! You must be at the meeting point 45 minutes before departure, otherwise boarding will not be guaranteed and no refund will be issued.

The itinerary may vary depending on weather conditions. The crew may make minor changes to the itinerary to provide the best possible experience.

Disembarkation tax is not included in the participation fee (1 June-30 September: €5; 1 October-31 May: €2.50) and will be payable locally.

The excursion takes place on board a motor vessel with a maximum capacity of 300 passengers and an average speed of 25 knots. No take-away food or drinks are allowed on the boat. On board there is a snack bar, panoramic lounges, passenger toilets with showers (cold water).

Bicycles and scooters are not allowed on board. Furthermore, dogs are only allowed on board with prior authorisation (to be requested using the contact details you will receive in your booking confirmation email) and by purchasing an additional ticket of €10 on site . The admission of large dogs on board depends on the breed and size.
