Full description
Join us for a half-day boat trip from Sperlonga to the 'Montagna Spaccata'. You will discover the Riviera di Ulisse Regional Park, a place of unique charm.
You will sail along the coast in the company of a professional skipper, admiring the most beautiful beaches and coves. You will visit wonderful natural caves, such as the Grotta Azzurra, the Grotta del Turco and the Pozzo del Diavolo.
You can stop at the most beautiful spots for a swim and some snorkelling, as well as enjoy a slice of pizza on board!
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the time selected at the time of booking in Sperlonga, one of the pearls of the Latium coastline, a village rich in charm and history. As we leave the port, we will admire from the sea the Grotto of Tiberius, adorned with sculptures depicting the exploits of Ulysses and accompanied by the remains of the emperor's villa.
We will continue along Via Flacca, an ancient coastal road with medieval towers and natural caves. We will then reach the wonderful Grotta Azzurra, one of the most beautiful unspoilt bays in the area. Here we can dive into the water and enjoy a refreshing swim and, for those who wish, some snorkelling.
After the half-hour stop, we will depart for Gaeta to take a closer look at the famous Montagna Spaccata, a very special natural attraction, on which stands the Sanctuary of the Holy Trinity. We will then admire the high cliffs overlooking the sea and several natural caves, including the Grotta del Turco.
We will then stop at the Pozzo del Diavolo (Devil's Well), a cave with a very unusual shape, where we can enjoy another refreshing swim and explore the seabed of the Monte Orlando Marine Protected Area.
During the navigation, the guide will entertain us with information, descriptions and stories and legends. On the way back to Sperlonga, the crew will offer us a delicious slice of pizza by the slice, with which to refresh ourselves after the day's 'exertions'.
The excursion lasts four and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is open to everyone, aged 4 and up. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.

The activity can be booked from April to October and is confirmed on reaching a minimum of 6 participants.
The boat may vary depending on the number of registrations: a 14-metre motorboat with toilets, sundeck, sun cover and freshwater shower; or a 9- or 11-metre gozzo, with the same equipment except for the toilets (not available on all models) .
Dogs are not allowed on board.
The nearest public transport stop is approximately 500 metres away. Paying parking spaces are available nearby.
