Full description
There is something magical about the combination of the smell of salt air and fried panelle that only a boat tour of Palermo can explain.
If you want to admire (and savour) the Sicilian capital from the sea, our skipper is waiting on board to take you on a half-day adventure to discover Palermo's coastline .
The perfect opportunity to explore caves and enchanting bays and enjoy the best of local street food!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Palermo (PA) . Awaiting us will be the skipper and crew who will accompany us on our boat excursion. After a short welcome briefing, we will set sail from the marina to begin our navigation.
Our first destination will be the beautiful Gulf of Mondello, where we will drop anchor for a swim stop of about 1 hour. We will dive into the Sicilian waters and use the snorkelling and SUP equipment provided on board. We will then depart along the coast, admiring the historic Tonnara di Vergine Maria for another photo stop.
We will then continue towards the Grotta Regina, located below the famous Villa Igea hotel. We will enter this suggestive cavity by swimming or paddling on the SUP. It is here that a rich gourmet aperitif of Palermo street food will be served, including sfincione, panelle and arancine, all accompanied by a selection of excellent local wines. If the wind is favourable we will also be able to sail, otherwise navigation will proceed by motor.
Finally, we will sail back to the port of departure. The activity will last about 4 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult on board.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible, but people with reduced mobility are welcome on board: contact the skipper at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to communicate your needs and requirements.
Other information
The activity takes place from May until October. The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The boat used is a Dufour 41 sailboat, 13 metres long and equipped with three cabins, three private bathrooms with electric toilets, large awnings, full cushions, and an outdoor shower.
Small dogs are welcome on board upon prior request.
Free and paid parking spaces are available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
