Full description
The sun descending on the sea of the Aeolian Islands is never the same: here you will experience it from a sailing boat, amid clear water and light wind. You will depart from Vulcano for an unforgettable sailing trip!
During the tour you will swim and snorkel between Cala Mastro Minico and the Faraglioni of Lipari, while the sea is tinged with the colours of the sunset.
And, of course, you will enjoy an aperitif in front of one of the most iconic settings of the Aeolian archipelago!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Vulcano (ME) . Here we will meet the skipper who will accompany us on a sunset sail among the Aeolian Islands .
We will board the sailboat and start sailing along the coast, leaving the island of Vulcano behind us as the sun begins to set on the horizon. The sea will be the stage for our adventure, with golden light and light wind.
En route we will reach Cala Mastro Minico for an initial 30-40 minute swim, ideal for snorkelling and observing small Mediterranean fish among the volcanic seabed. We will then continue towards the Faraglioni of Lipari, where we will make a second stop to swim and enjoy the most suggestive moment of the day: the sunset over the sea, amidst orange reflections and the scent of summer.
On board, we will relax with an aperitif of cold meats, cheeses and snacks accompanied by water and fresh white wine.
We will return, finally, to Vulcano, ending the navigation at the starting point. The experience will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The experience is not suitable for people with mobility problems.

The experience takes place from June to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and wind conditions at the captain's discretion.
The boat used for the excursion is a 15. 20-metre sailing schooner, Luna 50, one of the latest designs by Carter Offshore. The boat is equipped with toilets, sun cushions, shower, refrigerator and a shaded area. You stay barefoot on board.

Dogs are not allowed on board.
The meeting point is located not far from the harbour of Vulcano.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
