What could be nicer than a day out sailing? A day sailing in search of dolphins!
Our skipper will be waiting for you in Golfo Aranci to take you on a tour of the Tavolara - Punta Coda Cavallo Protected Area, during which you will land on white beaches, snorkel and, with a bit of luck, spot the cute cetaceans that inhabit the waters of Capo Figari and the Costa Smeralda!
Between dives, an aperitif and a seafood lunch will be served on board to make your day simply special!
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before 10:00 a.m. at the meeting point in Golfo Aranci (SS). Welcoming us on board will be the skipper ready to take us on this sailing tour in the Tavolara - Punta Coda Cavallo Marine Protected Area!
Once all participants have gathered, we will set sail from the harbour in the direction of Capo Figari, near the offshore fish farm, where it will be easy to spot the dolphins that live in the area, constantly searching for food.
We will then continue on to Tavolara, where we will stop for just over an hour to swim in the turquoise water and visit the island and its beaches, being enchanted by the stories related to the 'King of Tavolara'. For about 1 hour we will stop here, to enjoy a welcome drink and the first dive of the day.
Afterwards, we will move on to the Piscine di Molara area, where we will have lunch floating on the turquoise sea: the skipper will cook a fish dish for us, followed by fresh fruit, typical Sardinian sweets accompanied by wine or beer, followed by coffee and, of course, myrtle.
On the way back, we will make onelast swimming stop among the beautiful bays of Porto Istana, Cala Girgolu, the Three Sisters of Capo Ceraso , or Cala Moresca: the choice will be up to the skipper depending on the wind of the day. During all the stops we will be able to snorkel with the equipment on board, with the possibility of reaching the beaches by swimming or by tender.
We will finally return to the meeting point and, if we are lucky, we may even be able to spot the dolphins that inhabit these waters again!
The excursion will last between 7 and 8 hours in total, depending on the wind.

The activity is suitable for everyone without age limits.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible, but people with reduced mobility are welcome on board: please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to report your presence and request boarding support.

The excursion takes place from May to October and is confirmed with a minimum number of 4 participants.

Theboat is a single-handed sailing boat Doufour Atoll 50 "Island Girl " 15 long equipped with cabins, toilet, fresh water shower, stereo system, tender with outboard motor.
You remain barefoot on board. Dogs are not allowed on board.
There is free and/or paid parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
It is possible to request lunch menu variations without fish or for vegetarians: please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request these. In case of food allergies and/or intolerances , it is recommended to bring a packed lunch.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
