Full description
The Costa degli Dei is all magnificent, but it only becomes simply divine on board a boat.
Join our 3-hour boat excursion and sail from Riaci Bay to the beautiful Blue Grotto. You can also put on your mask and snorkel and snorkel in a pristine corner of the sea.
Music, drinks and fun await you on the boat. What are you waiting for? Get on board and toast with a glass of prosecco!
What we will do
We will meet at 9.30 a.m. at the port of Tropea, where our skipper will be waiting for us. Once all the participants have settled on board, we will cast off our moorings and start sailing.
We will head towards Capo Vaticano and the enchanting cove of Praia i Focu, where we will make the first of our bathing stops (approximately 20 minutes). If we wish, we can also don a snorkelling mask and snorkel and admire the seabed. Back on board, a small welcome drink with prosecco awaits us.
Back on board, we will resume sailing towards the Formicoli beach, with its high cliffs overlooking the sea. In Formicoli we will make our second swimming stop with snorkelling. If the day is particularly clear, we may even spot the Aeolian Islands on the horizon.
To reach the third stop on the tour, we will skirt the Bay of Riaci with its clear sand, turquoise sea and the famous Scoglio Grande emerging from the water. We will make the third stop at the Grotta Azzurra (Blue Grotto), indulging in a small dive in its azure waters.
We will then resume navigation and pass the Sanctuary of Santa Maria dell'Isola, which stands on a promontory. To accompany the last stretch of navigation until the return to port scheduled for 12.30 pm, the skipper will also turn on the music on board.
The excursion lasts a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to all, with no age limit. Children aged 0 to 4 can participate free of charge.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The excursion is held daily from May to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 10 participants.
The boat for the excursion is 9 metres long and 2.55 metres wide. Participants can use the toilet, shower and a comfortable awning on board to shelter from the sun while sailing. It is permitted to bring food on board.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
