Spend an unforgettable day off the coast of Alghero!
This boat excursion will allow you to visit fairytale places, such as the famous Grotta dei Palombi and the Marine Protected Area of Capo Caccia, where you will have the opportunity to snorkel and observe the seabed to recognise the marine species that populate the coastline.
And between one dive and another, you will be able to taste fine wines, cheeses, cured meats, carasau bread... all the typical gastronomic products of Sardinia!
What we will do
The rendezvous is 15 minutes before 10 a.m. at the meeting point in Alghero (SS). Once all participants have gathered on board, we will set off for Capo Galera.
Our stop near the rocky promontory will last one hour, during which we will have an aperitif with typical Sardinian products, wines, and soft drinks for all tastes.
We will continue sailing for about an hour towards Grotta del Palombi and will have the opportunity to enter the cavity with the boat itself.
The tour will continue to Parco di Porto Conte and theMarine Protected Area of Capo Caccia. At this point, having placed the boat sheltered in the bay, we will be able to snorkel (on request with the instructor). We will discover seabeds rich in flora and fauna, with fish, molluscs, pinna nobilis and pink corals just 5 m above the sea surface! We will learn to distinguish and recognise them all thanks to the educational material that can be immersed in the water.
We will recover our energies with a lunch complete with first course, second course, fruit, desserts, coffee and bitters, and then relax for a couple of hours before taking a final swim in front of the Bastions of Alghero.
Return is scheduled for 17:00. The total duration of the excursion will therefore be 7 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to all, with no age limit.
Children under the age of 3 participate free of charge.
Other information
The excursion is available from May to mid-September (excluding Ferragosto). The activity will be confirmed when the minimum number of 10 participants is reached.
The boat used for the excursion will be a spacious, fully refurbished motorboat with a shaded flybridge and sundeck at the bow.
The boat is equipped for disabled access, although it is not possible to go below deck to use the toilets. There is an area prepared for the use of one's own camping toilet tent (to be brought from home).
Small dogs up to 10 kg are allowed on board. The staff provides them with water, kibble and a life jacket.
Participants must inform the organisers in case of allergies , food intolerances, pregnancy, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free choices so that they can propose alternatives for lunch.
Paid and free parking spaces are available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
