Have you ever watched the sun dip below the horizon whilst tucking into an arancina? Get ready to experience exactly that on a sunset boat trip!
You’ll sail through the Gulf of Mondello in the company of a local skipper on a 3½-hour evening trip.
Between a dip in the sea and the colours of twilight over Capo Gallo, you’ll enjoy a Sicilian aperitif and a delicious dinner on board!
What we will do
We’ll meet 30 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Palermo (PA). The skipper who will be taking us on our trip will be waiting for us there.
Once we’ve boarded, we’ll head out to the stretch of sea off the Capo Gallo Lighthouse, one of the most picturesque spots along the coast. Here we’ll stop for about an hour and a half to swim, snorkel and relax in the water, as well as enjoy an aperitif with drinks and snacks such as chilled fruit, rotisserie meats, pastries, prosecco and soft drinks.
During the stop, we’ll be able to swim in crystal-clear waters and admire the seabed, whilst enjoying the colours of the sunset over the Palermo coastline.
Afterwards, we’ll set sail again to head into the Gulf of Mondello, where we’ll have another hour and a half to enjoy our dinner on board. Once you’ve booked, you can let the organisers know your preferred choice from a menu featuring meat, fish, vegetarian, pizza or gluten-free options.
Once dinner is over, we’ll begin our return journey to the starting point in Palermo. The experience will last a total of around three and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible. Staff can assist participants with minor mobility issues when boarding: please inform the organisers using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email.

The trip takes place from April to October.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions, at the captain’s discretion.
The vessel is a 10-metre boat equipped with a toilet, a sun awning, a fresh-water shower, a boarding ladder, ample space at the bow and a relaxation area at the stern with tables and sun loungers. You must remain barefoot on board.
For dinner, please let the organisers know your preferences via the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email (gluten-free, meat, fish, vegetarian or pizza menu) . Please also inform them of any food allergies or intolerances.
Dogs are not permitted on board.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point is accessible by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
