Full description
Get ready for a special evening aboard askippered boat that will take you to discover the maritime area of Syracuse and theisland of Ortigia. It will be 3 hours of relaxation, fun and great food to be enjoyed in good company!
During the boat tour you will admire the Plemmirio nature reserve at sunset and sail around Ortigia and the port of Syracuse to explore their main attractions.
There will be a few stops for swimming in beautiful caves and coves, before re-boarding for an aperitif of typical Sicilian products. Are you ready to go?
What we will do
We will be in Syracuse just before sunset to begin our tour. Here we will be welcomed by the staff on board and we will be seated on a motor boat equipped with all comforts.
We will first head to the northern side of Syracuse to explore some suggestive sea caves and peculiar rocks reminiscent of animal forms. We will then head to the Plemmirio nature reserve for a sunset swim in the bay of Pillirina, one of the most beautiful in Syracuse. Throughout the tour, the guide will tell us stories and curiosities about the places we will visit.
Returning to Syracuse, we will circumnavigate theisland of Ortigia to admire it from every perspective: we will pass by the former Bourbon prison, Fort Vigliena, the Spanish walls and the imposing Castello Maniace, made even more magical by the thousands of shades of the sunset. Closer and closer to Syracuse, we will then sight the Levante promenade, the Alfeo promenade, the Arethusa fountain and the great harbour symbol of the city.
The crew will surprise us with a hearty aperitif based on Sicilian products such as cheese, cold cuts, olives and fruit (aperitif included in the price).
At the end of the excursion, we will return to the embarkation point in Syracuse. The total duration of the activity will be 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to all, with no age limit.
Children aged 0 to 6 can participate free of charge, while children aged 7 to 13 pay the reduced fee of €20. Please contact us privately for booking.
Dogs are allowed on board.

The activity is available from thebeginning of June to the end of September.
The boat used for the tour is a 12-metre motor boat with a shaded dining area and central table, an upper deck with a seating area and sofas, an on-board kitchen, toilet, shower, safety systems and a ladder. The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
In the event of any food allergies or intolerances, it is important to contact the organisers at the contact details received with the booking confirmation in order to agree on alternative proposals for the aperitif.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
