Discover a land full of charm and beauty with a 4x4 buggy tour of the Segesta countryside in the province of Trapani!
Venture near theArchaeological Area and enjoy an astonishing view of the magnificent Temple of Segesta. You will cross an area dominated by Mediterranean nature among vineyards, orchards, and wild vegetation.
Along the way you will stop to savour the taste of fresh fruit growing under the sun's rays and enjoy an experience that engages all five senses!
What we will do
We’ll meet 15 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Segesta (TP), where, after an initial briefing, we’ll climb aboard the 4x4 buggies to set off into the Segesta countryside.
We’ll drive through Sicily’s native vineyards, orchards and the Mediterranean scrub that characterises the area, stopping for a tasting of fresh fruit: grapes, mulberries, pomegranates, melons, citrus fruits and prickly pears, depending on the season.
We’ll then head up Monte Pispisa, which overlooks the archaeological park, and notice how the landscape changes abruptly, becoming wooded and covered with expanses of oak and conifer trees. Along this stretch, we may spot kestrels, peregrine falcons and other wildlife.
The route will continue through the rocky gorges of the Orrido di Segesta, culminating at the panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Temple of Segesta, which will appear majestic and isolated amidst the green of the surrounding hills. After the inevitable photo opportunity, we’ll return to the starting point.
The activity will last approximately 2. 5 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of an easy level and is open to everyone. A B licence is required for drivers, while there is no age limit for passengers. Child seats are available for children up to 3 years of age (service included).
Other information
This activity can be carried out from May to November, weather permitting, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 buggies. If you wish to carry out the activity with only one buggy, there is an extra charge of €50 (payable locally).
The price is per buggy and includes the hire of the vehicle + the tasting for each passenger.
During the tour, awalking pace will be maintained and it will not be possible to run or carry out manoeuvres not authorised by the guides.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
