Adventure, nature, legends. All this only a few paddle strokes away from the Faraglioni of Aci Trezza, one of the most evocative areas of the Riviera dei Ciclopi and Sicily.
Join a one-hour canoe tour among volcanic rocks rising majestically from the sea, the scene ofUlysses' epic challenge against sea monsters and the legendary clash with Polyphemus.
Put on your swimming costume and dive into the waters of this corner of paradise that can only be reached by canoe or swimming!
What we will do
We will meet in Aci Castello, at the time selected when booking. After introductions, the guide will explain to us in a short 10-minute briefing how to paddle and how to maintain the correct position.
He will then accompany us into the water and, having climbed aboard the canoe, we will begin our adventure. The guide will take us to the stacks of Aci Trezza and, en route, we can admire the columnar basalts, peculiar volcanic effusions that only exist here and in Iceland. These are the famous Cyclops rocks, which, according to legend, were thrown by Polyphemus against Ulysses.
We will be in aProtected Marine Area, accessible only by sea, where we can enjoy an unspoilt landscape. If we wish, we can also take a refreshing swim or climb one of these stacks for an even more spectacular view.
We will finally return to our starting point after about an hour's tour, tired but with the feeling of having lived ahero's experience!
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 12 years of age. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, while those over the age of 14 can participate with a signed release form.
It is necessary to know how to swim to do this activity.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
