The awakening of nature by the sea has a calm rhythm and colours you won't forget!
Join this sunrise canoe tour in the Conero Park departing from Portonovo, in the province of Ancona. You will paddle along the white cliffs of the Marche promontory for 3 hours, stopping at the most beautiful spots for a swim or some photos.
Finally, you will enjoy a delicious breakfast!
What we will do
We’ll meet 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time at the meeting point in Portonovo (AN). We’ll be met there by a guide. Before we get into the water, the guide will hand out the equipment (canoes, paddles, life jackets and waterproof bags) and hold a technical briefing on safety rules and the paddling techniques to be used.
We’ll begin our evening paddle by travelling beneath the historic silhouette of the Torre de Bosis and passing close to the Scoglio della Vela. We’ll continue our journey along the base of Monte Conero, where we may spot some wild goats, and pass in front of the stunning sandy spits of Spiaggia dei Gabbiani and Spiaggia dei Forni. It is precisely along this stretch that we’ll witness the sunrise: we’ll stop out at sea for about 10 minutes to admire the dawn as it paints the horizon with golden hues.
The cruise will continue towards Cala Davanzali until we reach the famous Due Sorelle or Mezzavalle Beach ( depending on the time available) . We’ll land on one of these two beaches and enjoy a break on shore for about an hour, entirely dedicated to relaxation, during which we can take a dip in the sea and visit a cave on the beach.
At the end of the stop, we’ll get back into the canoes to begin our return journey to the starting point. After returning the equipment, we’ll be able to use a voucher provided by the guide to enjoy a well-deserved breakfast ( included) of coffee or cappuccino and a brioche.
The activity will end after a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for participants from 14 years of age. Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Obligatory requirements for participation include being able to swim, being in good physical shape and a maximum weight of 110 kg.
The excursion is not permitted for pregnant women.
Other information
The experience, which runs from June to August (Saturdays and Sundays) , is confirmed once the minimum number of 6 participants has been reached. The actual execution of the excursion is subject to confirmation by the organiser, who will check the weather and sea conditions the day before the chosen date.
At the meeting point, there are changing rooms, a secure storage room for valuables and outdoor showers (hot showers are available for a fee) .
Photographs and videos will be taken during the paddling session and sent free of charge to guests at the end of the activity.
Dogs are not allowed.
There are only parking spaces in the vicinity of the bay for a fee. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
