Full description
Lake Maggiore as you've never seen it (we bet): on board a sailing catamaran!
Sail with a sailing instructor between the Piedmont and Lombardy shores, from Castelletto sopra Ticino to Ispra. Let the air and water take you towards Stresa or Angera. And if you want to feel like a "captain" for a day, take an active part in life on board.
A 3-hour experience, guided by the breath of the wind.
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the selected time at the meeting point in Castelletto sopra Ticino (NO). I am a sailing instructor and will accompany you on this catamaran adventure!
Once we have finished boarding, we will be ready to set sail. We will cross Lake Maggiore, starting from the Piedmont coast and reaching the Lombardy coast at Ispra. During the navigation we will be able to admire the attractions of Lake Maggiore, including the ever-impressive Borromean Islands. Depending on the weather conditions of the day, we will then venture towards Stresa and Baveno or towards Arona.
Depending on your choice, you can either comfortably enjoy sailing or actively participate in life on board: you can set and trim the sail or hold the helm. In either case, it will be anexperience in close contact with nature, as it is air and water that will lead us to our destination.
We will then return to the meeting point for an experience lasting a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 8; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at embarkation.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The experience takes place from March to December, subject to weather and wind conditions at the organiser's discretion.
The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport.

Theboat is a lightweight Hobie Cat 15 catamaran, 5 metres long and 3 metres wide, equipped with a canopy.
You remain barefoot on board the boat; footwear is stowed when boarding.
A maximum of 1 dog is allowed on board; the dog must be water-wise and have socks.
