Daily sailing boat tour to the Egadi Islands with aperitif and typical lunch

You know those days when everything runs smoothly, even the wind? Here, this is one of those.

For this sailing trip to the Egadi Islands all you have to do is embark from Trapani and let our skipper take you to Favignana and Levanzo.

On board, an aperitif with Trapanese cunzato bread and a lunch that smells of real Sicily will be waiting for you! And if you feel like it, you can even grab a fishing rod or try your hand at manoeuvring the sails.

All in a single day, but the memory will remain in your head for much longer!

What we will do

The appointment is 15 minutes before 09:00 at the meeting point in Trapani, where we will be welcomed by thecrew on board the sailing boat Mistral.

Once all participants have gathered, we will start sailing towards the Egadi Islands, following the route that the wind suggests towards Favignana or Levanzo.

During the crossing, we will be served a welcome drink with local specialities such as Trapanese cunzato bread, olives and chips accompanied by white wine or beer.

The first stop will be at one of the most famous coves of Levanzo (such as Cala Dogana, Cala Minnola, Cala Tramontana) or Favignana (Cala Rossa, Cala Azzurra or Cala Cavallo), where we will be able to dive, swim, snorkel or fish with the equipment on board for about an hour.

We will then set off again towards the second island, sailing with a view of Marettimo, the smallest of the Egadi Islands.

We will arrive near a new cove and here we will be served lunch cooked on board, prepared with fresh, local produce of the highest quality. We will sample a few mixed starters , seasonal salads, then move on to a first course of pasta puttanesca with fresh fish, and finally almond cakes , Nero d'Avola passito wine and coffee. We will enjoy our meal in the shaded cockpit in awarm and convivial atmosphere.

After lunch, there will still be time for a few more dips or to relax on board while sunbathing.

Weather permitting, we will eventually sail back to Trapani , taking the opportunity to learn a few notions and manoeuvres on board in the company of the skipper.

The excursion will last a total of 8 - 9 hours depending on the conditions of the day.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is recommended for ages 6 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied on board by an adult.

The boat is not accessible to persons with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs.

Other information

The tour is available from April to October and is confirmed with a minimum number of 4 participants.

The itinerary may vary depending on weather and sea conditions, at the organiser's discretion.

The boat is aMistral sailing boat model Benecteau Evasion 34 equipped with bathroom, outdoor shower, awning and high-speed Wi-Fi via Starlink. On board you stay barefoot or with white-soled shoes. A maximum of 1 small dog is allowed on board: please contact the skipper at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request to bring your four-legged friend with you.

The meeting point can be reached by public transport. Free and/or paid parking spaces are available nearby. A transfer service to/from Trapani is available on request (not included): contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email for more information.

In the event of allergies and/or food intolerances, the skipper must be notified at least 48 hours in advance.
