Daily motorboat tour of the Island of Elba

An island can only really be visited on board a boat. And if you even have a motorboat at your disposal, you will sail in relaxation, sunbathe, and have a cool drink on deck while enjoying the view.

So, how about a 6-hour motorboat tour of the Island of Elba? You will not only admire the natural beauty from the jetty, but you can also dive during the swimming stops in the stretch of sea at the Spiaggia del Cannello and in the turquoise waters of Sant'Andrea, one of the most beautiful beaches on the entire island.

Have we said it all? No, wait, there is also a light lunch included in the tour!

What we will do

Departure is at 9:30 a.m. from the port of Marina di Campo (LI) on the Island of Elba where the motorboat is waiting for us. Once everyone is seated on board, we will start sailing along the southern coast of the Island of Elba.

We will sail along the Gulf of Lacona and Capo Stella until we reach the Costa dei Gabbiani, where we will make our first swimming stop. We will thus be able to dive into the sea at the Spiaggia del Cannello, a wild stretch of coastline made unique by the magnet mine.

Back on board, we will continue sailing along the Costa dei Gabbiani until we sight the village of Porto Azzurro. If we are lucky, we may even come across some dolphins!

The motorboat will then reach the northern side and Portoferraio, where the Costa Verde begins, a wonderful stretch of coastline with high white cliffs plunging into the turquoise sea. We will sail past the Riserva Marina dello Scoglietto and the Baia del Viticcio and stop for a second swim at the Spiaggia di Sansone.

We will then head towards Marina Marciana, passing first by Baia della Biodola and Baia di Procchio. Once in Marina Marciana, we will continue on to Sant'Andrea Beach, where we will make our third swimming stop. All stops last approximately 20 minutes.

After that, the western side of the island with its high, rocky coastline awaits us. We will sail along the beaches of Chiessi and Pomonte, famous for the wreck of a ship that sank in the 1970s.

We will make the fourth and final swimming stop at Fetovaia, one of the most photographed spots on the island for its unparalleled contrast between the white sandy beach and the bright turquoise sea.

Between stops, we will enjoy a light lunch of rice salad (included) on board, while refreshing drinks will be available separately.

We will return to the starting point on the island of Elba around 15:30, passing through the Bay of Cavoli with its Blue Grotto. The tour lasts a total of 6 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The tour is open to everyone, with no age limit. Children aged 0 to 3 years participate free of charge.

The motorboat is wheelchair-accessible. We recommend that you notify the on-board staff in advance so that safe boarding can be organised (you will receive contact details by e-mail with your booking confirmation).

The activity is held from April to November.

Pleasenote: arrive at least 30 minutes before the departure time.

The itinerary may vary depending on the weather and sea conditions on the day.

The motor vessel is 22 metres long, 6 metres wide and equipped with every comfort, including a toilet, passenger deck and upper sun deck equipped with seating and bar service.

The light lunch served on board includes rice salad, which is also ideal for vegetarians. In case of allergies, intolerances or other special dietary requirements, we recommend contacting the organiser (you will receive contact details by e-mail with your booking confirmation). Drinks are excluded from the fee and to be paid on site (payment by pos is also accepted).

Small and medium-sized dogs are allowed on board.

The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport.
