Did you know that from Tropea you can see the sun dipping straight into the mouth of a volcano? No, it is not a cinematic trick, it is the magic of the Costa degli Dei at sunset.
Join this 2-hour dinghy excursion: you will sail with a skipper to Capo Vaticano, between sunset dives and a delicious Calabrian aperitif on board.
A tour worthy of an Oscar!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Tropea (VV). Awaiting us will be the skipper who will accompany us on our excursion at sunset on the Costa degli Dei!
We will board the dinghy and begin a leisurely sail along the coastline, just as the sunlight begins to get warm and golden. We will head straight for Capo Vaticano, where we will make our first 30-minute swim stop in the calm waters.
We will then reverse course to pass Riace and Formicoli. At one of these two points we will stop for our second swim stop of about 30 minutes: after an inevitable dive, we will enjoy an aperitif on board with typical Calabrian products, bruschetta and taralli, accompanied by prosecco and iced tea.
While we toast with these delicacies, we will see the sun slowly descend towards the horizon, until it seems to enter right into the crater of Stromboli, visible in the distance.
Finally, we will sail towards the harbour admiring the outline of the town of Tropea illuminated by the last lights of the day.
The activity will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all without age limits; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not accessible for wheelchair users and persons with reduced mobility.

The activity takes place from May to October and is confirmed with a minimum number of 4 participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The boat used is a BSC inflatable boat, approximately 8. 5 metres long and equipped with an awning, shower, stereo and climbing ladder. On board one stays without shoes.

Small dogs are welcome on board as long as they can be held for the duration of the excursion.
Free and paid parking spaces are available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
