Dune buggies are special cars, designed for sandy and rough tracks. Thanks to our Neviere tour , you can try driving them for the first time and at the same time discover one of the most beautiful but lesser-known areas of the Gennargentu .
Starting at analtitude of 800 metres, you will cross ancient mule tracks until you reach a wonderful plateau from which two pure water springs gush forth. It will be breathtaking scenery that will also enchant you with the presence of wild horses, mouflons and eagles. A true paradise on earth.

What we will do
Themeeting is in Aritzo, a municipality in the province of Nuoro. We will be welcomed by a guide and after a briefing, in which the operation of the Dune Buggy and the safety criteria to be respected will be explained, we will climb aboard and set off on the tour.
From an altitude of 800 metres, we will venture along the ancient mule tracks that in ancient times were travelled by carts pulled by mules or horses, by the Niargios, the ice traders. The sheets were then sold in the main Sardinian towns.
After a journey of about 50 minutes, we will arrive at analtitude of 1400 metres and park the cars and then continue on foot for 2 km to reach an enchanting plateau from which two springs of pure water flow. This is a place of great natural and wildlife interest, as it is inhabited by wild horses, mouflons and eagles.
From here we can also admire Punta la Marmora, the highest peak in Sardinia, whose name derives from that of General Alberto Ferrero della Marmora, who described the island in two scientific-literary works.
The return route will be the same as the outward journey. The excursion lasts a total of three hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is simple and suitable for everyone over the age of 12. A minimum height of 1.50 cm is required.
A B licence is required to drive the vehicles.
For the 3-seater buggy , participants must not exceed a total weight of 195 kg.
Other information
The tour can be booked all year round, weather permitting.
Important: the fee is per car. Dune buggies are either two- or three-seater, to be chosen at the time of booking.
The fleet consists of two 2-seater CF 800 Zforce buggies and one 4-seater Polaris 800 RZR buggy, for a maximum total of 7 seats.
