If you like to get lost among woods and vineyards, know that you are not the only one. In fact, someone really likes to hide here. .. the truffle!
Get ready for an e-bike adventure of about 4 hours, during which you will meet a real trifolau who will take you into his world of nature and exceptional nose.
Thanks to assisted pedalling, you will be able to tackle the slopes of the Monferrato without any fatigue, enjoying every moment of this hunt for the treasures of the forest!
What we will do
The appointment is at the indicated time at the meeting point in Conzano (AL), where the guide will welcome us. After an initial briefing to learn how to manage the electric assistance of our bicycles, we will get on our e-bikes and set off on the excursion.
We will begin cycling as a group along a route through the hills of Monferrato. We will cross scenic roads and dirt tracks surrounded by greenery, where the guide will illustrate the characteristics of the area. It will be like moving through an open-air 'truffle museum': we will pedal among tidy vineyards and wild woods, understanding why this ecosystem is so fundamental for the birth of the precious mushroom.
The highlight of our adventure will be an encounter with the trifolaio (trifolau), the legendary local truffle hunter. We will not attend a simple demonstration, but a real lesson in rural life: the secrets of searching in total respect for the environment and the deep bond with the dog will be revealed to us. If we are at harvest time, we will watch the dog at work in a practical demonstration; alternatively, we will listen to stories and curiosities passed down through generations.
We will then continue our tour, tackling fun ups and downs made light by the engine of our e-bikes, enjoying the view of the surrounding valleys and taking short photo stops at the most scenic spots. Finally, we will calmly return to our starting point to conclude our experience.
The activity will last about 4 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable from the age of 12 (minimum recommended age) . Specific e-bikes for children are available on request: contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to reserve them in advance.

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
Child seats for children up to 5 years of age are available on request: please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to request them if necessary. Trolleys for transporting children or animals are not available.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport, so we recommend that you arrive by your own means.
For those who wish, at the end of the activity it will be possible to organise a wine tasting in a wine cellar (optional and on request) to taste the local wines (cost €15. 00 / €25. 00 per person) .

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
