Full description
Join us for a fantastic E-MTB tour to discover Lake Orta. A picturesque, romantic place, characterised by many small picturesque villages, forests, and a 15-metre high waterfall.
Thanks to this half-day excursion , you can admire small wild wonders, including some natural pools where you can even take a dip. In addition, on your e-mountain bike, with pedal assistance, you will tackle the route quietly and without too much fatigue, enjoying the panorama to the full.
Towards the end of the tour, a stop at the Agriturismo Il Glicine is planned to enjoy a tasting of local products with a view of Lake Orta and the island of San Giulio. What are you waiting for to book?
What we will do
The appointment is at 10 a.m. in Pettenasco, in the province of Novara. We will be welcomed by the guide, who will assign us the electric mountain bike (included) and give us a quick briefing on the activity. After that, we will be ready to set off.
The tour will first take us to the lower part of the lake, where we will reach a beautiful waterfall of the Pescone stream, a good 15 metres high. The stream is swimmable and those who wish can take a swim.
After the stop, we will head to the upper part, crossing the Mottarone woods and admiring other suggestive and wild wonders including natural pools hidden among the rocks.
We will then take a scenic route with a view of Lake Orta, which is easy to follow. Around lunchtime, we will stop at Agriturismo il Glicine for a tasting of local products (included). The tasting with a platter of cured meats, cheeses, wine and homemade dessert is plentiful and can replace lunch.
The return is scheduled for around 14:00, for a total duration of 4 hours.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
