Full description
The E-bike tour of Lake Bolsena will take you on a discovery of an evocative area where excellent local wines are produced.
In the saddle of an e-bike, with assisted pedalling that will make the journey not at all tiring, you will cover 20 km along a paved scenic road that will allow you to admire Montefiascone and Marta, a small town in the province of Viterbo.
The journey then takes you to Capodimonte, a village that has preserved its ancient charm intact and overlooks Lake Bolsena. Here you can enjoy a degastustation with wine and local products.
This tour is your chance to experience a different day and to try out the e-bike, an environmentally friendly means of transport that is ideal for enjoying the landscape.
What we will do
The appointment is in Montefiascone, in the province of Viterbo. We will be welcomed by an expert guide who will provide us with a latest-generation e-bike , equipped with a gel saddle cover. Once the group is complete, we will set off on our tour.
We will ride along a scenic asphalted road for 6 km, after which we will arrive at the lakeside town of Montefiascone, surrounded by an enchanting landscape, and Marta, a picturesque village that has retained its ancient beauty.
We will then reach Capodimonte, which overlooks Lake Bolsena and is a popular tourist destination for its typically medieval appearance.
Here, in a large meadow characterised by a centuries-old oak tree, we will participate in a tasting of local wine and typical products (included) including extra virgin olive oil, sliced meats, and bruschetta.
After this mouth-watering break, we will return to the starting point. The tour follows an easy route of about 20 km and takes a total of 5 hours.

The excursion can be booked all year round and is confirmed when the minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
For children from 2 to 4 years old, the option with a rear seat is available. You can request this directly from the guide once you receive the booking confirmation.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
