You know the usual Sunday spent wondering what to do? Here, forget it. Put on a pair of comfortable shoes, climb into the saddle of an e-bike and come and rediscover your spirit of adventure in Val Troncea.
In the company of a real two-wheel expert, you will pedal effortlessly through the crazy landscapes of the Natural Park, starting from Pragelato.
You can choose the day version to fill up on light and carbohydrates with a refuge lunch, or opt for the evening tour with a typical dinner and a night descent. Choose your favourite and get ready to pedal: the mountains are waiting for you!
What we will do
The appointment is at the indicated time at the meeting point in Pragelato (TO), where the cycle-tour guide will welcome us. After a brief initial briefing in which we will see how the e-bike controls work, we will climb into the saddle and set off on the excursion.
A circular route of around 20 km with an accessible altitude difference of 300 metres awaits us, which runs entirely on super-pleasant dirt and gravel roads. We will start by skirting the Chisone river to warm up our legs on a flat stretch, pass the picturesque Borgata Laval and officially enter the heart of the Val Troncea Natural Park. From here on it will be a scenic and regenerating ride, culminating with 4 final hairpin bends surrounded by green meadows and grazing cows, straight to the refuge.
The arrival at altitude will be rewarded with a rich typical Piedmontese zero-kilometre menu: we will taste local specialities such as veal in tuna sauce, potato gnocchi with meat sauce, polenta and sausage, all accompanied by water, wine and dessert included.
If we have chosen the day version, we will be able to stop off in the afternoon among the area's characteristic hamlets before returning the bicycles. For the evening tour, on the other hand, an exciting return awaits us: we will switch on the headlights of the e-bikes, put on the headlamps provided by the guide, and venture on an evocative night-time descent back to Pragelato.
The activity has a total duration of about 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is of an easy level. A minimum height of 150 cm is required to ride the e-bike. Minors must be accompanied by an adult or present written authorisation signed by a parent or guardian.

The activity is available from June to September on the dates indicated in the calendar and is confirmed on reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
Front or full MTBs will be used during the excursion, allocated according to availability. No seats or buggies are available for this activity.
Dogs are not allowed to participate.
The menu includes 4 courses: a typical starter such as the classic vitello tonnato, a hot first course (e. g. potato gnocchi with meat sauce) , a second course (e. g. mountain pasture polenta accompanied by sausage) and finally dessert and coffee, with drinks included (water and house wine) . As the ingredients are fresh and seasonal, the proposals of the day may vary.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
