It's a world made for two: like the saddle of a Vespa, but also like the number of lakes on this tour!
We are talking about Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta, definitely among the most romantic places in Piedmont and the perfect destination if you want to spend a day in the company of your sweetheart. Departing from the shores of Stresa, you will travel on a Vespa to the spectacular village of Orta San Giulio and enjoy an included lunch with a lake view.
The tour will then continue along a pre-assigned route, but you can stop wherever you like for a stop-off or a souvenir photo. The only rule? Return to base by 19:00!
What we will do
The appointment is at 09:00 at the meeting point in Stresa (VB), the starting point of your two-wheeled adventure! You will be welcomed by your hirer, ready to hand over the Vespa reserved for you and a digital map with a pre-assigned itinerary to easily reach the tour stops.
You will set off from the shores of Lake Maggiore, driving along roads dotted with historic villas, lush gardens and spectacular views of the Borromean Islands. The first stop will be Levo, a historic hilltop village perfect for a photo stop between lake and mountains.
After that, the itinerary will continue to Lake Orta, more precisely to Orta San Giulio, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Amidst its cobbled streets and medieval atmosphere, you will enjoy a lakeside lunch at the Filo e Fieno restaurant, overlooking the Island of San Giulio. Lunch will consist of an appetiser, a first or second course of your choice, a bottle of local wine, water and coffee.
After your meal, you can set off again towards Crabbia, a small village nestled between the lake and the hills. The last unmissable stop on the tour will be Sovazza, where you can savour the quiet bucolic landscapes of the Piedmont countryside.
You will finally return to Stresa, where you will have to return your Vespa at the meeting point by 19:00. The rental will last a maximum of 10 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and have a B licence. Passengers must beat least 6 years old.
During the journey driver and passenger may swap driving if both meet the requirements.
Other information
The experience is available from March to November.
Theprice is per Vespa; the organiser has 7 Vespas with mobile phone holder and top box available, capable of carrying 1 driver + 1 passenger for a total of 14 participants.
Attention! The organiser reserves the right to subject the customer to a prior driving test and, in the event of a negative outcome, the tour will be cancelled.
Upon delivery of the vehicle , a credit card will be requested as guarantee. If you do not have a credit card, a security deposit of €300.00 in cash will be required, which will be returned at the end of the rental period.
Fuel is excluded, the vehicle must be returned with a full tank policy.
On request, a guide service is available at an additional cost of €300.00: contact the organiser at the contact details given in the confirmation email to request this service.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 31 days from the activity start date. Within 30 and 15 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
