Experience a taste of la dolce vita in the heart of Tuscany!
Get behind the wheel of a vintage Fiat 500 and join a tour through the Chianti hills. Visit the village of Castellina in Chianti, stop at vantage points to take beautiful photos, and enjoy a wine and local produce tasting at a local winery.
More than just an excursion, it will be a real step back in time!
What we will do
We will meet in Badesse (SI), 15 minutes before 09:30. Our guide will welcome us and give us a short training session on driving the vintage Fiat 500s that we will use during the tour.
We will then set off to discover Chianti Classico on board our iconic car, a model that has marked Italian history. The pleasure of driving a vintage car along the winding roads of Tuscany will take us back in time, allowing us to experience a taste of the 'dolce vita'.
The first stop will be Castellina in Chianti, a charming medieval village where we will stop for about 40 minutes to explore the historic centre. Along the way we will make several scenic stops to admire the Tuscan countryside and take many beautiful photographs among the rolling hills and rows of cypress trees.
We will then visit a local winery, where a unique wine and food experience awaits us. We will discover the secrets of wine production and taste two local wines: a Chianti Superiore and an IGT, accompanied by a platter of cold meats and cheeses. Between cellar visit and light lunch, our stop will last about 1½ hours.
After the stop, we will resume our journey in our vintage Fiat 500s to visit another jewel of the Chianti region: Monteriggioni or Radda in Chianti, depending on the timing.
The tour will conclude with a return to Badesse, for a total duration of about 6 ½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone from 13 years of age. It is possible to participate in the experience as a driver or passenger.
The driver must be at least 18 years of age and have a B licence and a credit card; a pre-authorisation will be made on the credit card at the time of hire as a guarantee for any damages, which will be reimbursed if there has been no material damage to the vehicle at the end of the tour. The driver must be able to drive the vehicle; if the guide considers that the client does not have sufficient driving skills, he/she may cancel the booking without refund or propose an alternative vehicle.
Experience in driving cars with manual gearboxes is required.
Other information
The tour can be booked from April to November and is confirmed when a minimum number of 2 participants is reached. The experience also takes place in the event of rain.
Five Fiat 500s with 2 seats each are available for a maximum of 10 participants. By selecting the "Fiat two-seater" option, the vehicle will be shared with another passenger, with the possibility of alternating driving. To have the vehicle exclusively, however, you must book the 'Fiat single use' option: a maximum of 5 exclusive drivers can be booked. Dogs are not allowed on board.

The meeting point can be reached by public transport (Badesse railway station); there is free parking on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
