Explore Sicily's east coast on board a dinghy!
Take part in our excursion from Avola to the Plemmirio Nature Reserve: let our skipper lead you to discover natural wonders such as theOasi del Gelsomineto, the Arenella Beach and many other splendid settings in which to dive.
A5-hour experience, enriched with a Sicilian aperitif served on board!
What we will do
The rendezvous is 15 minutes before 09:00 at the meeting point in Avola (SR). We will be greeted by the skipper who will welcome us on board the dinghy.
Once we have finished boarding all the passengers, we will set sail into the wonderful sea of Sicily. We will sail towards Gallina to stop at the beach of theOasi del Gelsomineto, characterised by its shallow waters. We will continue on to Fontane Bianche, which will be the backdrop for our Sicilian aperitif served on board: arancine (fried rice balls), focaccine (flatbreads) and other typical snacks accompanied by water or a glass of prosecco.
Our excursion will continue to theIsland of Ognina and then to the Arenella Beach. The last stop will be the Plemmirio Nature Reserve for a dip in its multi-hued blue waters: this will be an opportunity to don the snorkelling mask available to guests and meet the varied marine fauna! Several swimming stops are planned during the navigation.
We will finally return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for everyone without age limits. Infants from 0 to 1 year old participate free of charge: please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to indicate their presence on board.
The boat is not accessible to people with mobility problems.

Attention! The meeting point is about 10 minutes by car from the centre of Avola.
The experience takes place from June to October and is confirmed when the minimum number of 8 participants is reached .
Theboat is a Clubman 27 dinghy equipped with aft deck extension, awning, electric ladder and freshwater shower. You remain barefoot on board. Dogs are not allowed on board.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
