Are you ready to explore Sicily's east coast on board a dinghy?
Our tour will take you to discover the natural and architectural beauty of the entire coastline between Avola and Syracuse. You will be able to dive into the crystal-clear waters of Fontane Bianche, theGelsomineto Oasis, theArenella and immerse yourself in the Plemmirio nature reserve.
Once in Syracuse, you can admire the Maniace Castle overlooking the harbour and the beautiful island of Ortigia, a UNESCO heritage site and the historical heart of the city.
To finish, a tasty aperitif with prosecco and typical regional specialities awaits you on board. Are you with us?
What we will do
We will meet at 8:45 a.m. at the small port of Avola, in the place indicated during the booking process. At 09:00 on the dot, we will set sail to begin our 5-hour dinghy excursion along the Avola coastline. The itinerary includes several sea-bathing stops along the coast.
We will stop at Gallina, the pine forest of theGelsomineto Oasis, with its shallow-water beach. From here we will continue towards the famous beach of Fontane Bianche, with its fine, light-coloured sand, where we will enjoy a typical Sicilian aperitif on board with arancini (fried rice balls), focaccine, water and prosecco.
We will then continue in the direction of the island ofOgnina, a small islet once joined to the mainland, and then to the Arenella beach.
Another unmissable stop will take us to the Plemmirio nature reserve, where we can admire the varied marine fauna, equipped with snorkelling masks.
Finally, we will approach the beautiful Syracuse of which we will appreciate, from the water, the Maniace Castle rising at the tip of the port and theisland of Ortigia, a small jewel declared a UNESCO heritage site.
We will return to Avola at 14:30.

The excursion is open to all, with no age limit. Infants up to 1 year old participate free of charge.

The tour departs daily from June to October. The itinerary may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The maximum number of participants is 14. The excursion is confirmed upon reaching 8 participants.
The boat is a Clubman 27 dinghy with a 250 cc Honda engine, equipped with an awning for shelter from the sun, an extension of the planks at the stern, an electric ladder and a freshwater shower.
Dogs are not allowed on board.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
