Full description
Explore the picturesque coastline from Portopalo to Marzamemi on adinghy excursion at sunset.
The itinerary includes several stops where you can enter the seaside village of Marzamemi, dive with a mask to discover the submerged Roman Columns , and admire the famous Vendicari nature reserve.
A typical Sicilian aperitif awaits you on board, which you can enjoy while admiring the Tafuri Castle that stands on the cliff.
It will be a day of relaxation and nature, to be spent in the company of friends and family.
What we will do
We will meet in Avola at 15:30, at the place communicated during the booking process. We will be welcomed aboard our dinghy, and we will set off immediately to discover the most evocative views of the area.
The itinerary includes several bathing stops , and during navigation we will be able to admire Avola, Calabernando, the Gulf of Noto, and the famous Vendicari and San Lorenzo reserves.
We will make an initial stop near Marzamemi. Here, equipped with a snorkelling mask provided by the staff on board, we will dive to discover the famous submerged Roman Columns of Marzamemi.
Afterwards, we will make a 40-minute shore stop, during which participants can wander through the narrow streets of Marzamemi, one of the most characteristic seaside villages in eastern Sicily.
At the end of the stop, we will return on board for another dive and head for the Tafuri Castle, which stands on a cliff above the sea. A typical aperitif will be served at sunset, which includes Sicilian arancino, foccaccine, water and prosecco.
Return is scheduled for 20:30, after a five-hour excursion.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit. Children aged 0 to 1 year (not completed) participate free of charge; please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate their presence
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The tour is available from June to October, every day, weather permitting, and is confirmed on reaching 8 participants.
The boat is a Clubman 27 dinghy with a 250 cc Honda engine, equipped with all comforts such as an awning for shelter from the sun, aft deck extension, electric ladder and fresh water shower.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
